It is not perfect. Still a little unresolved on the back end. The tannins are little dry. Pleasant juicy red fruit on the palate - Merlot. Some green leafy notes. Not especially long. But then you realize it actually is perfect (and not just because it is $20). It is really authentic genuine artisanal wine - rare in Bordeaux. And there is beauty in that alone. Whatever minor imperfections it may have are part of it's identity as a wine of it's own dirt and it's vintage. No polish here. Nothing hidden. Lots of interest. Will keep a while for sure. In fact I would wait a few years on this.

Really nice natural Bordeaux. No oak, just a nice ‘stew’ of merlot and other grape varietals. Great read in Wineterriors web site, and thanks to Chambers Street for importing. Yum.

excellent and substantial, a pure wine, good structure, full blackberry, earth flavors. Nothing like the modern Bordeaux
