  • Pale ruby with clear rim, medium body, medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins. Nose is cranberry, dark berries tart plum, sour cherry wood spice, earth, road tar, and faint sea minerals. Definitely still young on the palate and I would expect it will round out more with a few years. Good for it’s level and original price under $50

  • Very nicely done. Decanted with dinner. Clear, medium ruby color; lighter side of medium body; medium alcohol. Youthful; highly perfumed aromas; and pronounced flavors: bright red florals, earthy mulch, wood spice, tart pomegranate, tangy cranberry, sour cherry, and a vein of red stone below the surface. Developing balance with light tannin, medium acidity, and fresh fruits well on their way toward integration. Finishes strong and long. Worked very well with the pesto salmon, penne and Brussels sprouts. Can drink now with decanting (or lots of air) and food or cellar for another 10+ years.

  • Aromas of smoked cherry and spiced plum. Fruit forward flavors focusing on dried cherry and cranberry, took prominence after an hour of being opened. Long finish with some potting soil. notes Paired very well with aged hard cheeses, and even soft goat cheese which accentuated the sour cherry flavors of the wine.

  • Youthful ruby color, about 60% opaque, clear and sound with no sediment. Cork in perfect condition. Medium+ volume nose with roasted nutshells and sous bois. Medium weight, smooth palate with light cherry and mushroom notes. Medium finish. In its window with several years left in the tank. Very nice.

  • Alcohol is 13.5% seems higher content. Aerated 1 time at temp of 60 or 61. Translucent violet at at edges. Little purple red brown. Is a solid Pinot, very light and goes well with fish, veggie dishes and anything not to heavy and over powering. Lively fruit taste at the end of berries and plums. Good fall wine. Could spring too. I would make sure to have this within the next two years or so. Max 2022. It’s in its prime drinking window.
