In a clumsy phase right now. Shows the garrigue on the nose, but still coming together on the palate. Gave half the bottle some air and sampled a day later, and the cracked pepper/plum/black licorice flavors were more apparent, albeit with a brief, tannic finish. Save for at least 2-3 years.

N: CLOSED; Ripe berries with hints of garrigue? Intensity lurking?
P: Med, poss LM, body; NICE, almost swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which somewhat resolves by the LONG, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish to the dusty tannins -- & ult a pleasantness! NEEDS through '20, poss '21, then approaching its 10th? 14% ABV; My VG+. 91 pts ea WA (Czerwinski), Dunnuck, & WE @ $29, 3*(*)/5* drinkrhone.com , and 15.5 (cask) & 16/20 Jancis Robinson. [This vendor's $27.95 is AS good as any of winer-searcher's scant listings.]
