  • I wasn't sure how this wine would turn out so long after optimum drinking dates. However it wasn't corked, full of flavour, light and excellent bouquet. Very smooth. I bought this bottle about 1994 for £54, so quite a good investment, as I am sure it would cost more today, if you could find it!

  • Didn't know what to expect, hoped for Jayer family magic when I bought it for $37 in 1995

Good color, some age at the rim, bright and clear. Clean red berry fruit with a lovely floral note, quite an enjoyable bouquet, I couldn't get my nose out of the glass for the first 15 mins. Light and elegant in the mouth, balanced with a pleasant finish.
