The tasting notes below seem to describe a more advanced wine than I drank. I found a very structured Beaune, as expected, with quite fresh blue fruit. The only detracting element was a slightly stiff and bitter finish which frankly feels like more aging or maybe more air would improve. On second drinking there it’s definitely some barnyard or brett depending on your taste. I rather enjoyed it but I realize brett can be very off putting for some.
I enjoyed it very much and it reminded me of the way old French wines used to be - highly structured with subdued fruit.
Very good with food.

unfortunately i think this is slightly flawed with brett given the barnyard notes that while they diminished, the brett never quite blew off and marred the wine.

This took 30-60 min to open up, but drank well afterwards. Cloudy ruby red in color. I tend to enjoy 2003 burgs, as I enjoy the extra fruit and lower acidity compared to other vintages. This followed the theme, with my wife even guessing this was a 2010 burg due to the fruit. Aromas and flavors of earth, forest floor, cranberry, strawberry, meatiness, and tart cherry. This paired very well with a rosemary thyme pork chop!

Very nice. Earthy yet light. Black cherry, strawberry, spice, oak. Long finish. The nose and color suggest the drinking window is closing.

Good, but lighter and thinner than I prefer. Sweet fruit. Nice aroma.
