  • The nose is highly attractive - mixing cherries & fragrant fruit cake notes with a savoury undercurrent.

The wine is full-bodied but well balanced with ripe - not overripe - cassis and black cherry fruit with a twist of blackberry & cherry flavours...there is a complex mix of tobacco, pepper and coffee on the backend.

    In a word: Magnificent.

I'd buy again, but I wouldn't expect it to be a.The wine has medium acidity. It smells like red currant, cool/menthol and eucalyptus. The wine finishes medium. It tastes like black currant (cassis), pine and cedar. The wine looks ruby coloured. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has round texture.
