Given the uncertainty of these Neocorks, I thought it would be wise to start drinking through my stash. Upon popping and pouring, I was greeted with an intriguing nose of cola, orange peel, mushrooms, and plums. With about an hour of air, the aromas become much more subtle with notes of black cherries and decomposing leaves. The palate is less interesting, however, with tart notes of pomegranate, rosemary, and a washed out midpalate of minerals and wet stones. Slightly bitter on the finish. Works well with food but IMO it's time to drink up as I doubt this will get any better. 86-87 points.

Little much oak for my likes, small black cherry, cola. Nvm. I don't love. Heavy finish for a Pinot.

Stewed fruit, cinnamon. Kind of all over the place. Not unpleasant, but I'm sure but for the nasty neocork this was an ok wine back when.

Yet another stewed, chemical mess. Six horrid 2005 Alcinas in a row. Fortunately, this was my last.
