dark purplish garnet with full body. pencil shavings, herbs, cedar, leather, and lavender accent a nose of cassis and some red fruits. juicy and full in the mouth, bright acidity and herbal notes of sage lift the plummy cassis fruit against leather, espresso and earthy base flavours. well-integrated tannins, spice tones and good persistence. some heat on the back end as it warms up to room temperature.
well-matured Sonoma Bordeaux blend in a good plateau now.

Good wine but definitely young. Would benefit from more time to integrate. Tannins are very upfront and makes this wine a little out of balance. Besides that, very good wine. Dark fruits dominate the nose, notably black berry, with hints of blueberry, mocha and baking spice. The palate is fruit forward yet restrained. I think with time, the tannins will mellow out and this wine will become almost elegant. But overall, tasty wine

Mini tasting with my grandson. Lovely wine from one of his former employer's. Not a total ripe blockbuster, more restrained, still it has good depth and hints at elegance. The oak could be slightly better integrated and the tannins need some time but a lovey wine nonetheless. Would love to see it in a few more years (5).

This is drinking great right now. Without decanting, it was excellent. Dark berries and mocha, soft tannins, long finish.

Dark fruit, earth, mocha, sweet tobacco, baking spice. Silky tannins, nice acidity for balance. Aged perfectly
