An awesome smooth wine that is very well rounded and accompanied by a host of great flavor. Nose was of raspberry, Blackberries and plums that are perfectly ripe and late season along with minerals, sweet rich garden herbs like thyme or basil, and creamy oak. Palate was of Raspberry, cranberry, plum, and a flutter of white pepper and mineral. Finish was again of raspberry, cranberry, blackberry, mineral, cinnamon, honey, butter, burnt sugar and toast. Very very good smooth rich light in character. A dangerous wine for me as I don’t notice the alcohol just all the rich ripe fruits so well done. I loved this Zin.

Young, fresh and very fruit forward. Martinelli’s entry-level offering from young vines. Some bacon fat on the palate with a gush of blackberries, black cherries, tar and peach pit. Long, satisfying finish. Needs a bit more acid on the back end. But this is still a very satisfying wine that would be best with grilled beef or a heavy red pasta sauce. Drink now to 2022. Worth Seeking Out.

Not very Zin-like, but tasty.

Medium light, very complex mineral profile, a bit short on the finish.
