Golden color, yellow to pale rim. Toasty, roast peaches, stones, apples, honey and marzipan. Smooth, stewed pears and some tropical fruit, slightly sweet (fits well with the honey and marzipan notes), some acidity but definitely becoming mature, good length and a sherbet finish. Very good Santa Cruz Chardonnay, more extracted than expected, drinking well now.

Stone, orchard fruit and floral notes follow through on the palate. Balanced, with good length on the finish. Picks up a terrific sea shell note with air. 92-93+.

Lightly floral and honey-kissed as this wine opens up with some airtime; I also noticed a Keffir lime leaf note that seems to be characteristic for this AVA. Delicious, not rich but not too lean, very light oak that is well balanced. Loving this winery's offerings!

Big buttery wine. Creamy and full. I think I'm getting some bizarre bacon later on. Very good but low on fruit flavour.

Outstanding balance, pleasant even after a couple days. None of that syrupy vanilla that plagues many CA chards.
