  Tasting this wine, shows the real power and build of 2013 in Napa. I know this wine doesn’t have a lot of oak influence, and the oak that it does have, is from mostly neutral barrels.
  But this wine is still not ready to drink, and shows the longevity built in to 2013 Napa.
  I double decanted this wine on day 1,
  AND did that again on day 2, and FINALLY, on day 3, the wine and tannin started to soften exposing more of the beautiful dark fruit of blackberries, cassis, and plum. Notes of licorice, leather, and eucalyptus as well…
  
  I wish I’d waited on this, and I wish I had more.
  Quality/Price ratio on this wine is at the very best for almost any wine I’ve ever drank
