Aroma: citrus and tropical fruits, grassy, savory and spicy notes. Palate: lemon, savory notes, creamy, well-balanced, soft acidity with a medium long finish. Paired well with Roasted Chicken and Rice as well as French Onion Soup. The soup really mellowed out the acidity and brought out the sweetness of the wine. Tasted even better on day 2. 91-92

Excellent QPR for this wine. Still young, and fresh. Lemony ginger goodness all the way. A delightful pairing with seared Halibut and veggies. No hurry to drink this. I might wait on my last remaining bottles, but why not open them. A conundrum indeed.

Youthful showing of the vintage. Great color. Greenish - yellow. Indicative of acidity. Nose somewhat one-dimensional but getting better with some air. Day one was close, and hard to assess. Much more fruit on day 2. Lemon curd, citrus, and a good dose of barrel. Young now, and I think this will improve greatly with some medium cellar time.

My third and last bottle showed very well tonight. Very fresh lemon and lime backed with a creamy slightly leesy quality which made for a fantastic texture and contrast with the citrus. Very bright and lovely.

Really great mouthful of lemon curd with hints of apricot all balanced by bracing acidity and stony minerality. The finish lingers pleasantly.
A bargain in white burgundy.
