PnP but took a while for the redux to blow off. But once it did (hour later) it came into its own. Solid wine and solid QPR. Nose has green apple and a touch of grapefruit and dark honey. This is a well balanced and well structured wine. On the palate, it’s a nice mix of lemon peel, minerals, apple. Very nice.

A really nice and accessible chardonnay with a mineral cut that I adore. Not too much reduction. Definitely feels like a 2014, with its balance of fruit and acidity, and with neither overpowering the other. Very good for the level and price.

Outstanding QPR. PnP. Double decanted to let the reduction blow off. Lovely light golden color. Tart apple fruit. Somewhat viscous. Somewhat Chablis like, but a tad riper. This is a lot of wine for $26.

Frederic Wildman Luxury French Tasting (Swift & Sons, Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. The only Leflaive tasted today with reduction. Very good concentration for its price, but tough to assess in context of a walk-around tasting.
