Nose: coconut, white flower, pear crystal, hints of pineapple, hints of stone fruit, hints of caramel Notes: relatively full bodied and still a tad young at this very moment. It's fair to say that the whites from this part/appellation has the tendency to display a certain acidity profile that are quite different from Chardonnays in the Cotes de Beaune department, somehow more direct on the palate and perhaps a little less finesse. The nose of the wine on the other hand is quite complex with diverse sets of aroma, putting price aside this is a wonderful wine but I am unable to comprehend the price attached to this Domaine in general. Beautiful concentrated juice, opens up nicely with some air but it’s clear that this vintage has more legs as and will only get better. Not quite as open or approachable compared to the 2017 vintage.

Tasted blind. Called it a 11 dugat py chassagne morgeots because of its flavourful oak. For a bourgogne blanc, it was very well made with vanilla oak, caramel note and ripe yellow fruit. Ripe and forward due to the vintage. Extremely overpriced. The max I would pay is 60usd not 300usd (current mkt px).

On a flower day. PnP. Aromatically it is a sibling of Haut Brion Blance! Layered, and rich bouquet with some roasted coconuts. Textured palate with good weight and lovely fruits. An funny, interesting and atypical but delicious Bourgogne blanc. Very ready now!
