  This 2014 Olivier Leflaive Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Dents de Chiens is starting to open up now. Similar to Domaine Leflaive style of reserved buttery toast with crystalline fruits. This mini-Montrachet offers an attractive array of sleek white fruits, juicy citrus and pure minerals. Oily texture and substantial weight. Generous without being flashy. Drink now to 2038. (87/100)

  Dents de Chien is a tiny Premier Cru vineyard located at the corner of Montrachet. A great Premier Cru on paper but this 2014 Olivier Leflaive Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Dents de Chien is muted on the nose, not showing much fruit intensity. Big-boned and weighty on the palate, white orchard fruits and ripe citrus. Expansive on the palate, knocking on Grand Cru doors. Not as expressive as I had expected, to be fair it might need more time. (85/100)
