A: medium lemon N: Medium (+) nose of RAW DOUGH, ripe Meyer lemon, pear drops, grapefruit, saffron, ginger (tertiary) P: Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity and a medium (+) finish. Still very good quality but lacking complexity. It is really interesting how this is ageing quite quickly. I am really enjoying it but I think this vintage is coming to its end and I should like to try the 2015. Long live the muscadel cru communaux!!
I wouldn't buy this vintage again but more recent ones are a definite draw.

A class act Muscadet. Limestone and crushed granite with a tidepool salinity and bite of lime zest at the end. This has a faint but persistent framework of minerality with citrus notes peeking in and out. A subtle but long finish. Leans to the austere, but far from a patio oyster vacation chilled glass side note. Perfect pairing with a shrimp and langoustine risotto with a touch of chopped tomato.

a touch of white fruit on the nose, aromatically shy, however there is great intensity on the palate, vibrant and alive, a theme of lemon peel, orange and mineral greet the palate, mouthwatering acid, so refreshing and light footed, goes down rather quickly, match with oysters or sushi
