Very good, nails it from a technical perspective, fruit is clean, pure, and ripe, no edges, and not overly lush and not cloying. Down the middle high quality Chardonnay that doesn't scream New World. So I liked it over two nights, but it didn't have notable complexity or otherwise hold my interest. This drinks well on its own and with food.
Glad to have bought this bottle among just a few available in a virtual close out bin at $20. Solid QPR at that price. For the original $40 I'd lean towards some 1er Chablis or top shelf Burgundy Villages and save a few bucks and probably pick up some complexity.

Deovlet Wines (Deovlet Winery San Luis Obispo): A vineyard planted in 1971. Has more heft than the Zotovich, with more color, aromatic citrus tang, and body. In the mouth a saline sweetness and fresh finish. 91-93

Love the expression of fruit and the acidity in this one. It’s really good stuff.

Not your typical Cali Chardonnay. I didn’t really get a presence of oak and it has lovely acidity that really makes it pop.
