Black and red cherry, red raspberry and spice notes on the nose. Medium bodied (13.5% ABV) with rounded black cherry and brighter red cherry upfront. Mid-body has excellent depth and roundness, bordering on elegant. Brings in some red raspberry qualities, but in balance with the rest of the fruit profile, rather than overpowering it. The longer it was open, the more completely the mid-body integrated and the better the finishing transition became. Some tart cherry, spices and mineral notes on the backside and finish. Overall, drinking quite well at present and should be able to continue to develop along these lines over the next 12 months and then holding at that level for some additional time.

More Burgundian in style. Light color, pretty red fruit on the nose. Light to medium bodied with crunchy red fruits, herbs and nice minerality. 92 points

Good. Nice pinot mineralality, a touch o barnyard, and raspberries. Elegant but a tad thin for my liking.

Lighter Pinot style, didn’t like it as much as the alamos bottling. Had a strong herbal component to it.
