Yeasty nose. Palate much more complex with yeast, grapefruit, sourdough, yellow fruit, white flowers. Whisp of sea air and light chalk. Very fresh, quality Chardonnay wine. Caught my attention. Quality NV and very drinkable.

TM Mazoyeres vs Charmes Dinner. Champagne pair for first course. Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs. Fast fading bubbles. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of exotic ripe peach, honeydew melon. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe peach, honeydew melon, rounded citrus lemon, pear, underlying mineral. Medium+ finish. Good quality. Fruit quite upfront it seems. Base 2018, 20% 2013, 20% 2012. Disgorged 01/04/22.

Dinner at S.K.Y. (S.K.Y. restaurant, Pilsen, Chicago IL): The nose is pristine and fragrant with Saline, peaches, green apples, biscuits, toast, white fruits, lemon peels, toast, and dough. The Medium bodied feel is linear while the racy, high acidity shows off excellent cut without being too harsh. This is a real fun Blanc de Blancs that can handle the zero dosage.

Lovely and rich on the nose and palate including notes of white chocolate, butter and yeast. Well balanced and fresh. Very nice.

I like dry champagne and this zero dosage one was right up my alley. Linear, acidic yet very yeasty. Similar to Andre Clouet Silver Brut Nature.
Would buy again.
