Still has plenty of acid, but seems a bit out of balance, with a bit too much oak and tartness. 5-12-13-6: 86/100.

With K at dinner (apple risotto). Medium straw color. Mildly fruity nose. In the mouth, exotic and complex fruit flavors are quite a revelation. Beautifully balanced in a light-medium-bodied format. Citrusy, rich. Nice finish. Bit of coconut adds complexity. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.

With Kathy at dinner at La Perouse at the Intercontinental Hotel in Maui. Gold. Fruit lurking in the nose but not as opulent as usual. Perhaps too cold--more likely the bottle from which this single glass was poured was open too long (or, as the waiter said "Pacific Paralysis." On the palate, more acid than usual by far, and the rich, flavory, forward fruit is missing. More of a flowery style. Not bad but not what I expected. 5-11-16-7: 89/100.
