This 2002 Chardonnay has concentrated aromas of ripe green apple, pear, and even some floral notes all of which intensify as the glass warms up. On the palate, flavors of apple and citrus dominate although notes of toasted oak and vanilla come through, too. This wine has a long (and I mean long) lasting, firm acidic, yet smooth (almost creamy) finish.

Pleasing pale yellow color, pretty bouquet of pears. Very nice to drink... more of a fruity chardonnay than buttery and oaky. Short finish. I wish I had tried this a year ago. If you have any, I'd drink it now. Opens up with more fruit flavor, and more length, as it approached room temp. Upped my rating accordingly.

Cardinal Wine - Daily Wine Tasting from 32 Wine Bay - 1st 8 wines (Cardinal Wines, Crystal Lake, NW Suburbs Chicago): Nice aromas/flavors of pear, peach, and hint of citrus. Minimal oak, nice acidity and a creamy, lingering finish. A decent food chard.

full bodied, golden yellow color, tropical, fruity aromas, very small hints of oak, less dry than other chardonnays, very enjoyable
