Lovely nose - quite ripe fruit, red berries, almost a little stewed at times, spices. Quite youthful on the palate, very balanced and complete. Fine acidity, good structure, lots of fruit. Rather youthful. Fine length. 92-94

Beautiful to Look at in the glass and nice nose. 2005 Clos de la Roche? I’m not sure it is as good as it should be. Not as elegant as I was hoping for but still very nice. There is a certain class about it but I’m not sure it has as much breadth on the palate as there should be.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear as a bell. Bigger nose of white pepper, rose petals, tobacco and mixed dark fruits. Rich flavors of red berries, cherries and raspberries. Medium acidity, drying tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd lean toward hold.
My guess was the 2005 Louis Jadot Bonnes Mares. Wrong!

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of merde, balsam wood and plums. Slightly fruity flavors of red berries and plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.
My guess was 2005 Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques. Wrong!
