Quick session at ES BK. Pop and poured. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purplish ruby colour. Legs. Nose initially reductive, then blew off to reveal aromas of violets, grilled herbs, dark red cherries. Youthful. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), grippy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, black cherries, grilled herbs, sweet peppery spices, smoke and stones with more air. Long finish. Good quality. Nicely ripe 100% Petit Verdot with some good character. Will probably never achieve greatness, though it will need another 1-2 years to soften and integrate a little.

Young purple violet. Intense, medium complex and fine at nose: black berries, violets and spices: tobacco and black pepper. Dry, good body. Young wine, with young tannins and a good acidity, partially balanced by alcohol and fruit. Closing on red fruit's notes
