Lime, apples and fresh ginger, also some roasted nuts or maybe caramel here. Very young still on the palate, sweeter than others. Needs time to come together. Has the stuffing to age for a long time. Hold. 17+/20

Big fan of their Kabinett wines. First time I‘m trying a GG from them. On the nose it’s quite open with Apple, some pineapple, lime, papaya and some herbes. On the palate, it’s a nice mix of tree fruit and tropical elements with a zippy acidity. Still a bit young, will wait 2 years for the next bottle. Overall this is a refreshing and easy drinking Riesling but might misses complexity and length to warrant its GG label?

Not overly expressive and all out restrained at first, but detail and nuances emerge after a while with a Mosel-typical peach fruit and mineral notes of schist. Crisp acidity coupled with a bit of carbondioxide as well as some residual sugar provide for a nice and refreshing drinking experience. We paired this with an Asian tasting menue and this performed better with food where it had 93-94 moments.

Nice depth of flavour and acidity. Although a GG there is a touch of sweetness. A very pleasant drop but maybe not worth the price.
