  Expectations for the 06 were not high and upon pulling the cork the nose and palate were in line w expectations. Green veggies and a bit of funk on the nose, taste was dark fruit and some graphite, but not remarkable. After an hour and a half it started to develop more of the dark fruit you would expect from valley fruit. By the time dinner was over it had developed a soft elegance and balance that exceeded expectations. Want to try a better vintage now!
