  Wow, this wine is great and very representative of both the grape and the region - Piemonte! Beautiful medium ruby. Medium+ intensity on both the nose and palate. High acidity with lots of dried red fruit notes (red cherry, strawberry, and plum) and even some vanilla and tar on the finish. Tannins are very well integrated and light. The alcohol is a bit hot, but nice long finish. Overall, great wine for the price. Probably at its peak and not likely going to get better, so drink up!

  Bought FRW. Interesting, would buy again in small quantities. Smooth, no hint of stalks.
