USING THE CELLARTRACKER RATING SCALE: https://support.cellartracker.com/article/49-tasting-notes-and-ratings This crosses the good into very good, thus a 87. I have to disagree with prior entries in the community. This seems to have a touch of oak - NOT unoaked. Typical Monterey County Chard which means lots of tropical fruit with good acidity making it a good quaffer or pairing with food. At $10.99 we paid, great entry level Chard that may be a bit more than other entry level Chards, but delivers more. Varietally correct for the terroir of Monterey County. Recommend! SAME RESULT on 2-19-19.

Serviceable Chardonnay with nothing special to recommend it. Not too much, if any, oak. Discernible as Chardonnay, but could be another grape. Over-priced at $10.

What a nice bottle of wine. Not a traditional chardonnay, no oak is present, and the buttery tones are not overpowering. It has a fruity front end, followed by a surprisingly smooth and complex finish, reminding me of vanilla, and earth tones. I'll come back for more!
