Took this one to the Friday night tasting. A big hit. Should wait though to open any others. Needs a couple more years. Still a lot of oak and am hoping that will dissapte.

Youthful wine, not overly complex or long. Clear purple color with a smell of plums oak and smoke. The body is nicely balanced with tobacco and wood aromas, nice tannins but a bit too short, even for a Crianza.

(MARQUES DE CACERES RED) #3; COLOR-dark; NOSE-cranberry aspect, cedar box, tobacco; TASTE-good structure & body weight, but flavor profile is very one dimensional, little cranberry, little off balance, acidity high, disappears on the finish; GV-84
