So expressive and fresh, acid drive and aromatics that leap from the glass, lingering citrus, dynamic nose always showing something new, some sweet oak to this, if you like Von Winning GGs this can be a good alternative.

Dinner at B&A (B&A's): Blind. Pale to mid straw. Quite a ripe nose, hinting at the exotic. Ripe and rounded attack, richness giving a sense of off dryness, and then a more mineral, finely chalky textural element on the finish. We lead ourselves all round the houses here, favouring an elegant Cal Chard, before returning to Vouvray/Montlouis. A question of timing. After another 20 mins or so the more familiar Chenin acidity and flavour profile is evident on the finish. This is a youngster but has lots to offer now and will no doubt continue to evolve positively over the years to come.****

Mediumn yellow. Somewhat subdued nosewith some apple/fruit over a touch of wet wool. Honereyed in mouth with flavors of mixed apples, lanolin, and mystery fruit. Plenty of acidity. Lovely wine.

Première mauvaise bouteille de Blot. Une réduction qui ne change pas après 2h d'aération et qui cache tous les éléments. Bouteille défectueuse qui sera retourné.

Honeyed crystalline purity. Shows bright green apples and soft forest flowers with some quince and waxed citrus peel, this is piercing, intense, and oh so gorgeous. It sort of brings the best qualities of Cote D'Or Chardonnay and Alsatian Riesling together into something uniquely its own. That finish - my how it goes on and also seems to pair with anything buttery. Remarkable value.
