  • Had the 2016 Saint Aubin Dents de Chien and the 2016 Puligny Tremblots side by side. Both show a touch of reduction on opening. The Saint Aubin is more mineral and more chiseled with white fruit, while the Puligny is a bit more round and has some slight tropical notes. Both very good, though my preference is probably for the Saint Aubin as it’s a bit more complex and I see more upside there as well.

  • This was very good, though I will say it seemed a bit more mature than I anticipated. The color was still relatively pale; the nose was excellent with ripe orchard fruits, a hint of lemon pie, spice, and floral notes. The palate has good concentration and density and has good freshness, but not quite the lift I've had in other wines from Lamy. Overall very good, but not sure how long I'd hold it....

  • Shy and demure for now. There’s some spice, excellent texture and great intensity and concentration. Awesome potential here.
