What a find...it was buried in my cellar, not even on my inventory. I expected it to be flat and fruitless, but instead, it still had fruit and life left.

Showed very earthy, with some noticeable tannin. Fruit flavors were subtle. This was surprising as this wine drank very differently when I purchased a case for a party in October (read way more fruit forward). This paired well with seared duck breast in a port reduction and fig sauce. Picked up the gaminess of the bird, and the fruitiness of the sauce allowed what fruits the wine showed (cranberry and sour cherry aspects) to shine. A great weeknight quaffer.

Still youthful and showing its muscle, with a good dose of tannin but nice, round, appealing fruit

Did not expect a tannin bomb from this, but that's what it is. Dark bing cherry and waves of appealling tannin. Loved it.

Very nice. Needed about 30 minutes in the glass to open up.
