PnP, drank over two days. Retrained blue fruit and a splash of cedar with a note of washed stone. Good acidity and not what I would call a lush wine. Would probably benefit from some time in the bottle, but I don't buy these to age. A good mid-week drinker. Consistent vintage to vintage. A good QPR southern Rhone.

Decanted for 40 mins before drinking. To the nose, blackberry and black cherry for fruit with slight bramble and leather. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry and black raspberry primarily for fruit, with anticipated white pepper, black pepper and allspice. Silky tannins in laces with good acidity remaining. Minimal leather or oak on the palate. Medium mouth feel with medium length consistent for vacqueyras. Excellent QPR. Paired well with different styles of pizza.

We continue to explore the Rhone Valley wines and always enjoy the ride. Vacqueyras is always a favorite. Very earthy with lots of blackberry and black pepper. The oak is apparent and provides a backbone. A pleasure to drink both with & without any food.

A little earthy funk to it, but nicely balanced fruit as well. Overall a solid GSM for the money.
