I seem to never learn… last bottle of a case of six of this, and the first one to sing. Very typical riesling in a good sense, nice acidity which balances the citrusfruit (orangenotes). Note to self: never ever open a half way serious dry riesling before it is some 6-7 years old

Oooph - reminds me of a vintage of Louvetrie muscadet I bought a few years back that went haywire. There’s an herbal entry that quickly morphs into a green, overly vegetal note combined with a whiff of rotting electronics. Glad I only bought one bottle.

from memory: a fun and unique riesling, would have thought it more of a dry sauv blanc if tasting blind. very herbaceous (fresh) with prominent trop citrus fruit on both the nose and palate; mineral and sharp acidity carry the wine. med bodied, coats the palate nicely. paired it with honey-soy braised pork with lime and ginger, a moderately successful match.

Nose hits with a lot of Meyer lemon, white flowers, and soft delicate fennel. The palate has viscosity and a lingering sharp acidity. The Meyer lemon rears it’s head with white flowers dancing around the tip of the tongue. The acidity really carries.

Nose petrol and cigar ash. Dried apricot and vegetable. Palate well balanced with decent acid some mineral and fruit and ash notes.
