Wee kopishop wine lunch. Tasted blind. Deep amber gold colour. Nose honeyed chrysanthemum tea and caramel. Palate too far gone. Tastes like a 1980s or early 1990s white. Bottle variation. Nonetheless, suggest whoever still has this vintage better drink it up already.

Aperitif for late night session at Maison Dakota. Cork-closure. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, golden colour. Legs. Nose pronounced intensity, with aromas of honey, aged nuttiness, salty stones minerality, ripe citrus fruits, barest hint of petroleum. Developed. On the palate, bone dry, vibrating high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honey, malt sugar, nuttiness, salty stones minerality, ripe citrus lemon, ripe yellow peach, touch of pineapple and mangoes. Long finish. Damm high quality. The genius of Egon Muller! Everyone was seriously surprised how good this was, considering they were tasting it blind too. Better than a lot of German GGs! Seriously dry, and seriously balanced. IN the zone now already. Drink up and enjoy.

This bottle seemed to gain a little depth compared to my previous bottles. Still full of citrus and minerals, but color was a little more golden and it gained some nuance of petrol.
