Correct wine with a good portion of Syrah in it, based on the nose and mouthfeel. Some warmth in the aftertaste, probably linked to the Grenache in it. This is a correct wine for its price but would not buy again as it lacks some complexity.

Deep ruby red colour. Red currants, blackberries, red berries and dark berries on the nose with hints of spices, liquorice and herbs. Taste of ripe cherries, blackberries and spices. Long and warm finish. Good value for money. Goes well with beef, lamb and game.

Colour: dark purple red Nose: blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, black cherry. Dark chocolate. Sweet spice, old oak. Hint of green peppercorn. Touch of cough medicine? Palate: lots of black berry fruit. Blackberry, blackcurrant. Plum. Cough medicine. Sweet spice, old oak. Liquorice? Maybe the slightest hint of peppercorn? Moderate berry like acidity, chunky drying tannins, still slighly hard. 14% alcohol. Full bodied. I'm not sure, but I'd guess was quite a bit of Syrah in this. Lacks some complexity, but good everyday drinking.
