P/at 1:30pm, decanted for 1 hour and returned to bottle for service at 8pm. Clear, deep dark purple color w/minor very fine size sediment. Muted nose. Wow, absolutely stunning. Huge but refined, definitely not Bordeaux which is generally softer and more feminine. Perfect drinking window as showed incredible balance but will hold for years. Black and blue fruit profile, a bit of earth, not overly extracted, slight oak, pencil lead, touch of sweetness, some light and resolved tannins, very long smooth finish. Nothing off. $59 and way above price point.

Nose: Covid
Taste: some light tannins which is surprising for a Merlot. Some blackberries, blueberries, tobacco and some oak. This is good stuff.
