PNP, but gave the wine about an hour to open up in the glass. It needed it. Deep ruby. Nose of red cherry, cranberry and vanilla. Bright red fruit, pop of acidity and tannins that are still a bit tight. Medium body, medium+ finish. Drink now or hold for another 2-5 years.

Needed about an hour to relax and soften. Delicious.

Dangerously good. Beautiful aroma of vanilla, caramel, bourbon, and wood. Flavor of berries and spice at end.

Napa/Sonoma Trip With Some Exceptional Gems; 11/1/2017-11/5/2017 (1800ft Up Cavedale Road, Glen Ellen, CA): Tasted at the Chateau. Very dark red color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. 18 months in a mix of French and American oak, 25% new. Lots of spice, wood showing, young, dark fruit, black raspberry liqueur, great texture. Needs 1-2 years.
