Medium color intensity and ruby color. On the nose has medium + intensity and primary flavors of strawberries, red and black cherries and plums, blackberries, floral tones of roses and spices of black pepper, secondary tones of cream, cloves. Tertiary flavors of dried strawberries and prunes. On the palate the wine is dry, with medium + intensity, medium tannins, high alcohol and medium + body. Maybe 90 for the texture but ... nope, 89. First hour is sour. Second hour that goes but then this paprika thing comes out like an aggrieved porkupine. Better in a couple of years. I have 6 so I hope so. RP 96, wow !?! I wish. Maybe 93 max in 5 years.
I recall the 2003 so fondly - that magnificently long legged rich beauty.

Very intense, powerful and finish is long. Quote from RP “Life is too sure not to be drinking the wines of Drew Noon.”
