  opened initially with blueberry, plum, mocha, evolved over 8 hour period, progressed to spice, well balanced, dark chocolate, full tannin profile but resolves to bring impressive length. great drinking now but can tell this will continue to improve. Matched against 91 magill which gave a glimpse of the future.

  Drank to mark the passing of a great friend, who gave me this bottle.
  
  Dark in the glass. Clear. So much oak and chocolate.

  Served blind, deep inky purple, powerful Shiraz nose of blackberries and plums with prominent oak, still very young, medium bodied with great poise, guessed a high end Australian, very good but best after 2025
