  • Drank this wine at the "An Aussie Odyssey with Chef Scott Webster" dinner at Osia Steak & Seafood Grill with my spouse. We paired this wine with the grilled Angus eye fillet, kumera sweet potatoes puree, truffle arancini, thyme jus. Drank this alongside the 2018 St Henri Shiraz.

Dark purple in colour. Sweet, juicy with a well-structured body. If the St Henri is a reserved fellow with depth and takes a long time to open up, the Magill Estate is a welcoming and forthcoming chap who will approach you with open arms. New world wine in style with more open, straightforward notes.

Long shelf life ahead. Do keep for the next 5 to 10 years.
