A blend of 87% Cabernet, 11% Merlot, and the rest Malbec. 842 cases produced. This is a big and substantial wine but it commands your attention with layers of depth, weight, and complexity. It broods with cassis, black and blue fruit, cocoa, and petrichor over notes of anise and cinnamon bark. Rich, melted, and very textural in the mouth, with plenty of New World heft and middle sweetness that propels currants, fancy oak, and white pepper through the voluptuous finish. This is good but I expected more given the price. Bottle variation?

Delicious! Served a little chilled on a warm Texas night while dining al fresco. Paired surprisingly very well with a mild curry.
