We compared it with Spatburgunder 1986 by Kloster Eberbach, and it showed different style, but quite similar class.

More round and juicy on the palate, with remnants of red berries, cranberry juice, juniper bush, pine cones, and dried lyophilized forest strawberries.

Good acidity and overall good palate. Despite it being a mere village wine, at its venerable 32 years it had both the grace and the vigor. A rare find, if you ask me.
