Nice wine...lots of fresh riesling character with bright acidity but much less that its German cousins but also showing huge white peach fruit flavor and good mouthfeel. Bone dry, slightly oily and round. Solid and good with some roast chicken.

Very pleasant Riesling. Touch of sweetness, and good acidity. Fairly classic Riesling nose of petrol, almonds and peach blossom. Good length, but a little light in the middle. Drink now or keep for a couple more years.

Tasted at the Skurnik Grand Portfolio Tasting in NYC. Poured by Sarah McCrea, third generation of the founding family. I didn’t take any real notes on this wine but I did write down one word...”lovely”

On the nose a cloying mix of raisin, flowers, and candy. Something medicinal. Simple sweet dose of fruit on the palate, not much acid, sickly bitter lift at the back. Reminds me of what I don't like about Gewurtztraminer.

Napa Valley & Chalk Hill AVA winery visits - 5/30 & 5/31, 2018: Aromas of orange zest, peach, rose hips and gun flint. Layered spice-driven fruit on the palate. Richly layered, bright acid, good depth throughout. Very nice.
