Given to me by a client as a gift, I didn't hold this long. After drinking it and reading Jeb's TN from 2018 in which he recommended drinking this over the next 2-3 years, he's probably right if not a bit short. This was excellent, and for whatever she paid, poses a seriously strong QPR. The aromas were plum but a strong kalamata olive note. Juicy and balanced, no tanning, good acid with olives, spiced plum, coffee, and cherry flavors. The mid-palate was a little hollow, so drink now or in the near term. Great stuff.

Definitely needs 30-45min of air. Very good QPR. Different from a normal Reynvaan wine. Not as many layers of "rocks funk" but still enjoyable especially at 1/3 the price.

30 min decant. Wine was ready to go from the get go and showed well. It is extremely savory, almost overly so but still enjoyable. Great for the price if you like this style.

(Result of a Crush Christmas Cuvee) Hello friends. New vintage today of a wine that has taken on a life of its own during the past few holiday seasons. [Note: see the bottom of the offer for a bonus wine, the first ever white wine under the Result of a Crush label.]There are exactly 38 bottles of the 2015 Christmas Cuvee left in our warehouse and right now is the time to be drinking it. Seriously, it’s less than a week until Christmas—and whether you celebrate or not, you still deserve some festive wine. (Note: this bottle would also make for a dreamy gift for any host this holiday season.) This is 100% Syrah, and 100% estate Reynvaan fruit. While we aren’t exactly sure about the breakdown between the Reynvaan holdings in the rocks district and those in the Blue Mountain foothills, the overall package is savory as can be. Brackish notes of kelp and olive, smoky/earthy peat moss, meaty demi-glacé; it’s just a beautiful pastiche of savory tones, all overlaying a core of dark raspberry fruit. Smells like a Cote Rotie ringer—truly a knockout vintage of this cuvee.
