Great QPR for the price. It was a really pleasant Pinot that went quickly at a party. It was gifted to me by a friend and wanted to drink it as soon as I got it. Nothing special but a nice plain old low end Pinot that for the price had a little smoke and cherry cola on the palate. Really nice.

N: RIPE cherries with forest floor which SOMEWHAT blows off to notes of flowers; At least for THIS price pt, complex;
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.) met by just a bit of puckerish astringency which pretty much resolves by the LONG finish with a bitter/swtness to the few dusty tannins. MINIMAL var char, but otherwise NICE as a generic red table win. Drink now & through '20. My VG+/EXC-, but as generic red rather than P.N. 95 pts & Gold @ '18 CA State Fair, and Silver @ '18 S.F. Chronicle Wine Comp. [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]
Note: Also tasted 5/12 & 10/13/2018, TNs fairly consistent

N: Slightly closed; Notes of RIPE, wild straws & other tough to parse elements
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by some astringent pucker which pretty much resolves by the LONG, pleasant finish with an ultimate swtness to the scant tannins. For now IF one can handle the brief mid-P structure. Otherwise, cellar for a yr, then drink for the ff 2-3. As a Pinot [given its minimal var character], my VG/VG+; But, as red table wine, my VG+/EXC-. [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.] 95 pts & Gold @ '18 CA State Fair, and Silver @ '18 S.F. Chronicle Wine Comp.
Addundum: Also tasted on 5/12/2018 & 04/20/2019, impressions fairly consistent. [FYI, I've noted similarly MINIMAL var character with previous vintages: cf. my TNs of 9/30/2017 & 10/22/2016.]

light berry fruit taste. light body. Easy drink for a Pinot. Reasonably priced.
