2 hours in the decanter prior to drinking. Agree with previous reviewer, surprisingly muted on the nose, however faint floral notes of violet and lavender evident, with a hint of red plum. Fruitier on the palate, boysenberry and black cherry and as expected juicy up front. Long gripping tannins that coat the side and back palate. Enjoyable, which score reflects, but slightly out of balance at the moment, try again 2023.

Surprisingly muted on the nose, even with airing. Dark and full-blooded, with average balance. Noticeable rough edges and usual Malbec pungency somewhat mitigated with the cab franc. Power without layering or complexity.

This wine is not in a good place at the moment. Completely unbalanced. I'll wait at least another 2 years before trying again.

Decanted but still muted on the nose. Creamy notes on the palate. Very shy wine. In now way the JS99 points

Too young to rate. Loads of tannins still present. Needs another 3-4 years.
