P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by SOME puckerish astringency which pretty much resolves by the LONG, very, VERY slightly spicy finish with a tangy/swtness (& a very, VERY slight bitterness) to the minimal, very, VERY fine tannins. For now & through '20, & MAY improve a tad through '18. 13.5% ABV; My VG+ [in the style]. 89 pts WE @ $20. [This vendor's $14.95 would appear to be very competitive.]

Was eager to try the new vintage and wanted to see if this was as good as some of the previous vintages. Popped and poured and the first taste I got was bacon. I was totally not expecting it and kind of threw me for a loop. It seemed to dissipate some and more fruit came through. Very good everyday wine for 14.00 can't beat the price.

P: Med, poss LM, body; Rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt (at least approaching threshold R.S.) NICELY off-set by acidity with a bit of very, VERY fine tannins, all of this slowly transitioning into a LONG, spicy finish with a distinct tang & HINTS of those very, VERY fine tannins. For now (though MIGHT improve through early spring '18) & through '19. VERY well made for its style & price pt! [This vendor's $14.95 would appear to be very competitive.]

Nice barnyard aromas, lots of Bing cherry on the palate smoothed by soft raspberry and silky tannins. Good easy drinker.

Delicious pinot from Cherry Pie. Is this release taking over from Cherry Tart?
