This was probably the least enjoyable 'petite' we've had, and we generally love this varietial - It was very dark purple, not as concentrated as others and a bit lighter (13.6%), it had a sweet nose, but also a strong earthly scent that was unusual (perhaps not used to wines without sulphites?), it was smooth on the palate with a short finish (85 Points).

Suprisingly good organic wine. Strong jammy palate, good character. A good value.

An overwhelming nose of cloves, juniper, cocoa and cedar. On to the palate it was like trying to drink sage-infused cedar potpourri. Ech.
The bad news: we spent about $25CDN on a wine that smelled like a cheap scented candle.
The good news: my recycling bin has never smelled better.
