almost opaque, rich sweet fruit on nose and palate, a bit stewed, lacks elegance or finesse but perfect for a barbecue without the need for much consideration or thought

almost purple, considerable sediment, very fruity, soft, smooth, quaffing style, easy drinking without needing great consideration, 15% ABV lurking under the fruit

fruity, smooth, easy drinking, noticeable tannic bite at the finish, no real pretensions but perfect to grab and drink at a barbecue or social gathering where not much thought is really given to the wine, here it fits the bill perfectly

Color: Transparent ruby. Nose: Gorgeous raspberries, a hint of spice. Mouth: Fresh and fruity. Very long finish. Very expressive. The 15.0% (!) alc. cannot be felt. Bought at Coop.

You'd be happy with a couple of glasses of this at a barbecue and share it around because it's keenly priced and has plenty of Barossa goodness. Leads with plums, pepper and spice plus charcuterie and the fuller bodied palate is a little unforgiving in a youthful way, super bright acidity with raspy, firm tannins and a bit of kick on the finish. Drink By 2025.
