  • This was past its prime, but after 1.5 hours, it began to open up. A little woody, but still had some fruit left. Okay to drink, but no longer really good.

  • This was intended as an experiment with an aged Pinot. Having picked this up at a store who bought from private collection have no idea of the storage condiitons. Color has brownish tinge that gives away its age. First surprise was there was very little nose. On the palate it came across almost more like a mild liqueur. Fruit unfortunately was quite lacking. That said after the initial getting used to period it actually grew on me and wasn't half bad. Can't actually recommend it vs. all the better options but it was an interesting trial. If you have any of these I'd drink immediately.

  • .Had this bottle tonight with a roasted chicken, noodles and roasted carrots. The wine was delicious. Plenty of fruit left, round and a great finish. Cherry and blueberry were both still evident. I've been on a Pinot run lately with Archery Summit, Siduri, an old Gundlach Bundschu and a few others and I really think this wine tonight was the winner. I have enough bad experiences to not recommend aging a Calif. Pinot for 9 years, but I got lucky this time. Cellar conditions were perfect though.

  • Good but probably beyond its ideal drinking window. A little thin for the quality of the fruit and winery.

  • Poured for us at the tasting room to give us an idea of what some cellar years will do. Very floral on the nose. In the mouth still somewhat like the newer pinots we had tasted, or conversely palate fatigue on my part.
